Post-Treatment: The “Golden Rules”
The first 72 hours are the most critical for your treatment to “set” properly. To ensure your hair stays pin-straight and silky, follow these guidelines:
The Do’s:
* Keep it Down: Wear your hair loose and straight at all times during the first 3 days.
* Use Sulfate-Free Products: Only use salt-free and sulfate-free shampoos. Regular shampoos will strip the keratin coating away quickly.
* Dry Immediately: If your hair accidentally gets wet or sweaty during the first 72 hours, blow-dry it and go over it with a flat iron on low heat immediately.
* Sleep on Silk: Use a silk or satin pillowcase to reduce friction and prevent morning frizz.
The Don’ts:
* No Water/Moisture: Do not wash, swim, or even let steam from the shower touch your hair for the first 3 days.
* No Hair Ties: Avoid ponytails, clips, headbands, or even tucking hair behind your ears. This can cause permanent “kinks” or dents in your smooth finish.
* Skip the Heavy Styling: Avoid using heavy oils or styling creams immediately after the service; let the keratin breathe.

1. Pregnancy & Nursing: We generally recommend consulting your doctor before booking a keratin treatment if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
2. Coloring Your Hair: It is best to color your hair before the treatment. If you want to color it afterward, please wait at least 2 weeks.
3. Ventilation: Since the process involves heat, we recommend choosing a well-ventilated room in your home for the service.
4. Health Conditions: If you have severe asthma or chemical sensitivities, please let our team know in advance so we can ensure the safest formulation for you.
